How to tie a karate belt - step by step guide

Here's our step by step guide how to tie a Karate belt. Or any other belt if you're into martial arts!

In case you find the photos and the description not clear enough, we also have this belt tying tutorial as a video clip!

Thanks to our dummy Markus who volunteered to show off his belt tying skills in front of a camera.

(Markus: "I just felt quite intimidated the first time round I went to a Karate class. All the experienced students knew what to do, when I had trouble getting even into my gi, the Karate uniform. When it came to tie my Karate belt, it was the most excruciating procedure... nobody told me what to do with this 5 meter long belt [ok, that's an exaggeration!]")
