The one with the logo that was made just for the tournament.

For the record...
That was a one time thing.
We never had to do that before
and I highly doubt they will ever request that again because there was too much fallout.

Thanks for the answer. Phew.. now I can be at ease. You see, I have a Shobu gi (without the tournament logo) and it was a pain to get it. Besides I like the gi very much.
See you in Berlin soon smile.gif

Did you buy it from the website or a UK distributor

When I last tried, they didn'y have a UK distributor.

In fact if I remember correctly you had to send a FAX!!! - couple of years ago mind you.

Chiefobrien - you say you're off to Berlin - is that to train with the German Wado-kai?

If so, you will have a blast.

From the website with a little help from a friend who lives in Japan.

Yes, with the German Wado-kai. It will be my second time there. It was great last time.

I use a BCS middleweight. It is very flexible, not as heavy as a heavy weight but offeres great strength, when grappling and throwing.

Also provides a great snapping sound on punches

What brand does everyone where?

Any recommendations? (Tokaido, Shureido, other). I always wondered what the grandmasters wore.

Not endorsing the suit particularly, but here is a link to one of the most frequently visited shops in Tokyo for karate-gi - they get coach loads turning up when international competitions are on. Very easy to find if you go there, just a few stops along from electric city.

http://www.tokyodo-in.co.jp/price_e.html

they also stock a huge range of books and video's but unfortunately don't list them on their website.
